That can only be because it’s meant for the beach, not for the water.
It withstands the beach, it moderately withstands the water. Such things exist.

Compressor. It’s a washing machine. At 50 degrees, clean water. I start with 45-degree water. It was a stupid idea to put the glasses in, afterwards .

There are many kinds. By the way, yes, these won’t last forever either. You shouldn’t expect much from the heating, it’s slow. I speed it up with an NDK immersion heater if necessary. The thing is, it’s worth washing it before/after because the VG/PG residue is terribly sticky stuff. There is a 30-liter one too .
