Either I’m biased towards my own gear, or some pods just don’t cut it for me.
I’ve bought a few, but they simply don’t deliver what my RTAs do.
Or I just haven’t stumbled upon one that really impresses me yet…

Mostly yes… But many other problems can occur… Electronics too, but even mechanical ones, e.g., the pod head in its slot. I had one that, even though it was magnetic, still came loose etc… And yes, for pods I also gave them about 1 year… In the best-case scenario.

For 2 years, I also only used RTAs. It was good, I didn’t have any problems (or rather, yes… at the beginning with wicking… but here on Vaperina they helped… yeah, that’s why I joined). But then I needed something new. So this is how I switched to pod(s).

I think this is a step back from the RTA or just a matter of convenience, but as Zsolt wrote, if you find the right settings for it, it’s eternal like misery, provided you don’t want to try another one like I did.

Indeed, there are differences in RTAs too.
I had 2 Dead Rabbit M RTA Tanks… so I had an easy time.
Maybe I was, am just looking for convenience. Financially, pod systems are much more expensive… I know.

Honestly gentlemen. I have three mods. Dovpo Riva DNA, IPV8 YiHi, and a tube mod swapped for a nut somewhere. About 12 mods were lost, all were masterpieces of Chinese craftsmanship, plus 7-8 tube mods.
Tanks that I still have: 2 dwarf (compact) tanks, Wotofo Profile RDTA, Brunhilde 103 Spec DL, Steam Crave Pulse V3.
I don’t baby them, so they don’t get damaged.
