Hi everyone, 2 days ago I received my Dead Rabbit Pro [RDA](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#rda-31) and a Vandy Vape Pulse V3 [squonk](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#squonker-12) mod, and my problem is that after 2-3 puffs, the entire [RDA](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#rda-31) gets very hot, including the [drip tip](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#drip-tip-14). The 4th puff is already very unpleasant. Could you give me some advice? (This is my first rebuildable atomizer; I’ve used pods so far. I built the [RDA](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#rda-31) as Tamás Fehér showed in his video, using pre-made coils and cotton wicking in a dual setup with 0.37-[ohm](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/183?silent=true#ellenlls-4) wires, which resulted in 0.17-[ohm](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/183?silent=true#ellenlls-4). I’m using it at 60 watts. If I go lower, I perceive the flavor delivery as weak.) Thanks in advance for your answers. ---

You need a higher resistance wire or you have to take much larger breaks between vaping. I think the [coil](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#coil-16) might be very close to the airflow slot. This could also be the source of the extreme heat. @tibor_balogh is right. Bring the [coil](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#coil-16) wraps closer together to 2.5mm. 😊 ---

And I recommend getting a DR Solo [RDA](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#rda-31)… In my opinion, in terms of price-value ratio + performance… In terms of consumption, it was released alongside the Pulse V3.. Solo [coil](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#coil-16) build 40-45 watts ❤ ---

I don’t think there’s any problem with the DR Pro [RDA](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#rda-31), it’s just that you might not have found the right wire and cotton combination for yourself yet. Many people swear by simple wire, but some also like more complex wires. This unfortunately requires time and a small financial investment. Anyone can recommend any wire or cotton if, in the end, you might not like it. But to answer your question, I think the DR Solo is a very good atomizer IF it has the right wire and cotton in it. 😄 I had a bad experience with the stock [coil](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#coil-16). I put something else in instead, and from then on, there was no stopping me. 😄 ---

This is indeed a Hellvape Drop Dead 2 [RDA](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#rda-31), but this is how I usually position the [coil](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#coil-16). This way it’s not close to the cap and heats up minimally. Those two coils are very far apart. This way, it’s very close to the [RDA](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#rda-31) wall. That could also be why it gets so hot. Try to bring them closer together so there’s only 1-2 mm between them. This way, the air can circulate well around both coils. Raise the [coil](https://vaperina.cc/t/-/187?silent=true#coil-16) at least 1-2 mm from the airflow. ---
