I took out my Ripley RDTA again today after letting it rest for about a month; I’m giving it another try to see if I can finally get it working properly. And it actually worked, though I don’t fill it through the fill port, but rather through the wicking tubes—this way, I’m sure there won’t be any air trapped inside.
Good thing I checked out Mr. Grincs’s video on it.

The point is I can use it more confidently now; I just need to buy a needle-tip bottle in hopes of easier refilling.

The mod is a timeless piece!! I really like the e-liquid too; although it’s only 2 and a half months old [steeped], it’s magnificent with the 1928 (RDA)!!

It was perfect, but it was too heavy for me, so I hardly used it! The weight is about the same as a Dani.
