My only question is, does the mecha add anything extra? Thinking about it with common sense, why would it? So, in my eyes, buying the mecha mod is a return to the roots situation… Like a paid retro trip… So I get it and I don’t get it

My only task is if the electronics in any of my mods die; I put a battery into these and everything keeps going 
Though, I think it will be rare for me if all of them die

Mecha is a lifestyle, and it’s characteristic that it’s csőmod, and typically there are extreme pieces in appearance too.

I also have some that I like, there are quite a lot on the market.. I won’t say never… that wouldn’t be me, but now I think these are utility items and I wouldn’t want to use the same thing 20 years from now, so for me, eternal life + 20 years doesn’t weigh that much on the scale.

Don’t even mention Ego-t… I replaced the electronics in one or two back then 
it was a tiny piece of junk, it quickly fried if it received a low resistance.

You are right, but I value these more than some plastic junk, and these will surely survive (there are plenty of examples of this even today) unlike disposable ones.
