Hi everyone

It seems this is a translation error that likely appeared after improving the display of media elements and links.

GIFs are fundamentally displayed from Giphy servers (we might change this) and have a short descriptive title based on which the AI recognizes the source language, but sometimes the GIF link itself is modified during translation. This problem usually occurs when only the GIF is present in the post.

I have already manually fixed the broken links in a few posts, so the GIFs are now appearing again.

Of course, I am trying to identify and fix the error as soon as possible…

For images, in those few moments, all that happens is the system optimizes them: it creates a thumbnail, and it also converts the full image to the appropriate format and the maximum resolution we allow, which makes them “clickable”.
