I understand the link issue.
I won’t get offended by this because I shared similar principles until recently, so I understand, but I realized that our colleague @gangsta_gergo is right; the authorities are not stupid, they know things you wouldn’t think. They don’t just search online; they have other more serious tools, and if they want to cross someone, they will do it anyway (and I think they have the largest domestic database of operating webshops…
).
On this basis alone, you could tell Donát to remove the tag on Vaperina where, besides Majmos, several other established, frequently used shop links are posted so large they hurt my eyes. And if I only share links privately, how do I know they go to the right place? Just because someone has been a member for a long time doesn’t mean they aren’t the tax-collecting company’s “spy” who has been tracking things for a long time, or vice versa, a fresh registration could be a vaper or a “spy.” And what’s the difference between mentioning a link and mentioning a shop? I think none. If you mention it in code language, you’re excluding new vapers from the information…
Besides, Vaperina isn’t the only domestic portal or forum. For example, elsewhere a few months ago, when LH closed, I saw so many comments and links about the “small” French shop that it could have been a giant billboard at the tax authority’s headquarters. Obviously, it’s not good, but if they decide to go after a shop, I don’t think it will be because of the links, but because of the volume and value of orders (see the LH case).
Okay, I’m done, it got a bit long, but I’ve been pondering these things (among others) lately…
