Many people don’t like Solubot, but I think it’s good value for money, although I prefer BigMouth, for example. Plus a few others—the forest fruit or the blueberry one was quite good.
I’ve given up on “pharmacy”-level measuring. Strike me down, but I eyeball adding the 10 ml of aroma into the 100 ml bottle. The written percentage value is just a recommendation anyway. Of course, if I really nail a recipe, I try to remember how much base liquid I poured in.
However, this also depends on whether the Pg/VG (or VG/PG) ratio is 70/30, or 30/70, or perhaps 50/50 (they often confuse things by some manufacturers listing the VG first in the stated ratio, and others listing the PG first, so you have to figure out which one you ordered and what it yields: vapor, or flavor…??? – that’s why many swear by 50/50 % – I don’t know)
So, if you stick to 30/70 or 50/50, and you remember approximately how much base liquid you mix with 10 ml of aroma to get an 8% or 15% concentration “juice,” then production simplifies in the future.
My question now is more about where we will source the base liquid from…. I know there are local, legal—but overly complicated—sources….
They are slowly shutting everything down around here, and they can give you a customs fine of maybe 100,000 if you’re not careful (I heard that). I’d rather drive out to Párkány…

I’ve mostly found my way. Since then, there are 1-2 flavors that appeal to me. The Vampire Coconut Tropical one I really like, although it could be more coconutty. And T-Juice has some crumbly stuff. I chase those with WS to make them rich/meaty. Often my brain freezes too. So I haven’t settled on that yet. For the base liquid, I use the place that has worked well for years. True, sometimes you can’t reach them, they mess up the orders.. But well.. There’s just one problem. They raise the prices month by month. PG-VG wouldn’t be a problem.. It’s just that darn Niki.. I found a supplier, but my problem is that the story is expensive (a real drain on the wallet) and so I’m a bit scared of it. If everything fails, then we’ll soak the decks and fill them up with that.
