How do you roll, how do you wick? 😊

What flavor is that Steam Train?

Then try another one or get used to re-wicking often  sorry, it was just a joke:blush:
By the way, isn’t the cotton a bit much? Or does it just seem like a lot because of the coil gunk?

Is this theoretically pod edition? How sweetened-cooled is it?

Yes it is. Well it’s quite sweet, but not cooling.

What kind of coil is it? Clapton, fused? What is its resistance?

Vandy Vape pre-wound coil, 0.68 ohm and I vape it

Could you be more specific? Maybe a photo of the box?

I hope it shows up well :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m not a big expert, but 99% sure the juice is the culprit. For me, the concentrate does this after 10ml. Let’s say, at its beginning, it also has a smoky, awful taste.

If I see correctly, this is Ni80. It heats up quickly. First, try with a new coil and wicking: when you take a puff, release the fire button a little earlier, and while you are no longer heating the coil, still take a little puff. This way, you cool the coil somewhat, it doesn’t stay hot, and it caramelizes the sweetener in the liquid less. This doesn’t require new wicking or a new coil. If it doesn’t yield results, we’ll continue looking for the fault factor.

Thank you everyone for the help. What do you recommend that is higher quality in both wick and coil?

As long as you use e-liquids with sweeteners, this factor will always be present; it’s simple chemistry, sugar caramelizes at high temperatures. For wicking, Cotton Bacon Prime might be slightly more durable. More experienced colleagues will help with coil building; I’ve been using plain wire in micro coils for 13 years. Perhaps, if you insist on pre-built coils, an MTL Superfine Clapton Kanthal-based one instead of Ni80, as it heats up slower.

Actually, I haven’t tried building my own coils yet, but I think it’s time.

It’s dead simple, but I can also try it out with a pre-

That coil is suitable for exactly what you’re using it for
 an airy MTL
 RDL
IMO 20W is perfect for it..
The liquid shouldn’t be making this much gunk in just 2 hours.. we’ve all encountered a “gunk factory” before, but two hours is a very short time..
I suspect the wicking and not a fault of BP mods, rather that something isn’t as it should be..

Have you been using this atomizer for a long time?
Maybe it also occurs to me that the mod is preheating the start of the puff too much.

Well, I’ve been using this tank for about 1 year, but I also have another

No, it started recently, I just swapped my mod for the other one

I’ll be curious
Then maybe you’ve really stumbled upon some kind of gunk-making concoction that thins out the cotton wick. :face_with_peeking_eye:
