If it’s okay, it fits. I also get 2.5 mm, 5 wraps, resulting in 0.7-1 Ohm, depending on the wire.
Then it can be problematic if, for example, it heats up slower.

Hi! The 0.6-0.7 Ohm range is perfectly fine for Ni80. I’ve been using this for almost two years, and on a 2.5mm inner diameter with 5 wraps, it consistently comes out like this, Dani usually measures this too.

I’m always a bit under 1 ohm (around 0.65-0.8), the resulting resistance of fused claptons is lower, since it’s essentially the ‘braiding’ of 3 thinner wires.

The thickness of the wire also matters. With Ga26, five wraps on a 2.5mm inner diameter results in lower resistance than with 30Ga.
