Itâs being neglected. The pink (and its sister, the red) are on a Dvarwon each, which has been mostly in rest status lately. (I vape few desserts).

Well then⊠getting back to that Coilology cotton I ordered from Temu.
I wicked the small Valor RTA. The wire it came with is Vandy Vape MTL Superfine Fused Clapton 32x2+38ga Ni80.
Wrapped on a 2.5mm inner diameter, 4 wraps, 0.86 ohm, at 13.5 watts. I cut a 5cm piece of cotton, then removed about 10% from it. Then I just simply fluffed it up, and carefully placed it into the cotton channels. I took the La Tabaccheria Black Cavendish Organic 4Pod liquid, filled it up, and tried it. Everything was going fine, but at the 7th-8th puff, I got a dry hit. I unscrewed the atomizerâs top cap, thinking it wasnât getting enough airflow (since it has the 2nd air pin installed, starting from the smallest one; Valor doesnât mark its air pins), then reattached the top cap, and tried again. 7-8 puffs, and another dry hit⊠well, I thought to myself, this is not going to end well, not at all. I removed the freshly placed cotton, then cut another 5cm piece, and re-wicked the Valor. This time, I removed 35-40% from it (yes, almost half), then thinned it out nicely with tweezers, so that the cotton channel (when packed) wasnât even half full. I then fluffed this up nicely in the cotton channel so that it would saturate more or less properly (with that little bit of cotton
that was placed inside), then reassembled the atomizer, and tried again⊠This time, it was a perfect success. Now itâs purring nicely. Oh!.. and itâs popping properly too. (For me, this popping coil gives the best flavor), but this is subjective⊠as you know.So, overall, it turns out to be good cotton, just very finicky. Tomorrow Iâll build a DL atomizer too, because if I had to remove 35-40% from the 2.5mm one, then the 3mm one should be good. Even though I bought the 2.5mm version.
And, as you can see, the Legend 2 is under the Valor. As I wrote before, it gives an extra boost to the vape, well, it doesnât do it as intensely as before anymore. But I gave it a factory reset. Since then, it has calmed down a bit, Iâll see for how long⊠
