For wicking, Cotton Bacon Prime might be slightly more durable. More experienced colleagues will help with coil building; I’ve been using plain wire in micro coils for 13 years. Perhaps, if you insist on pre-built coils, an MTL Superfine Clapton Kanthal-based one instead of Ni80, as it heats up slower.
