Give it another 5-10W. Let that TC work.
You can check the calibration by the way, I have Ni80 in it now, so it’s not relevant, but here, with a cold coil and TC wire, you should get back your current room temperature.
By the way, although I don’t use it with this wire (29ga Zivipf NiFe30-520), my post-puff value is usually around 6-9W.
What was your resistance when cold?
