It’s not really worth exceeding the recommended wattage range, because the coil will wear out faster. A burnt taste will appear sooner.

Then I don’t know what the issue is, because if there’s ready, steeped liquid in it, you’ve primed the atomizer well, waited a bit, and in my opinion, 0.7 ohm between 20-25 watts should provide an ideal, pleasantly/moderately warm vapor.
It’s also possible that all of this is still very unusual after cigarettes. Cigarette smoke is quite warm, bitter, and has a burnt taste. Besides that, it’s possible that your taste perception is still clearing up.
It’s unclear what the liquid you put in is.

You might be right, but I haven’t smoked cigarettes at all for a month now. I have an Aspire Avata, with a 0.6 ohm coil and this same pre-made liquid, but the flavor is much more intense on the Avata than on the Pico at 20w.
