Tömítés probléma nem lehet?Mintha balról jobban hűlne a tekercs és azért nem kokszosodik ott annyira.Vagy az a “lyuk” is hűtheti ,amihez balról a fala hozzáér a vattához.
Én is tapasztaltam már ezt a jelenséget. Én a folyadékszállításra, a vatta sűrűségre gyanakszom ilyenkor. A vattázásnál szorulásig behúzott vatta egyik fele gondolom tömörebb az összesodort elejéhez képest.
Mióta becsületesen megritkítom a végeket, azóta ez a jelenség megszünni látszik.

I have to comment because I feel there are misrepresentations. PG and VG are vaporized, or broken down into very small droplets, and enter the lungs, where some of it adheres, and the rest exits as the exhaled vapor cloud. This can be analyzed; its chemical composition is known, and perhaps its physiological effect is also known. However, the vast variety of flavorings lands in the lungs in the same way, and the lungs are not protected from their effects just because you call them natural and harmless. Because they are indeed harmless as long as you consume them as food, entrusting them to your digestive system, which is prepared to break them down. The lungs are not. The fact that it’s a natural substance doesn’t mean it can’t be poisonous; think of poisonous mushrooms, snakes, spiders… The chemical composition of the flavorings used is incredibly diverse, and our lungs have to contend with every component and their decomposition products. Let me be clear! I am now vaping after quitting smoking, but I do not downplay the significance of the chemical load this causes to my lungs.

I see these gunked-up coils. Has no one tried cleaning them in an ultrasonic cleaner yet? I clean my watch and jewelry in it too, with quite good results.

No, I don’t tend to distort things. If you read back, you can see that I also pointed out the risks. It’s not by chance that the essence of the article is to keep the coil clean, as it can cause serious problems, which can lead to a state that is no longer physiological, but pathological, or morbid.
Specifically, vape flavor is suitable for inhalation (too), as it passes EU tests. I would also mention that one of the fantastic properties of our lungs is that they are self-cleaning, so if something that really doesn’t belong there accidentally gets in, the lungs expel it.

Yes, pathological. That term didn’t come to mind. For a bit of humor: even the bologna was examined, completely harmless; upon entering the lungs, we can rightly expect them to expel it.

Hi everyone. I haven’t been here for a while. Since nicotine was forced into the tobacco shops, I don’t buy anything else. I’ve quit all sorts of concoctions. Tobacco extract, the real kind, is only sold by the Italians and the Maltese. I’m only writing here in the forum/thread because I’m sharing my experience. Unfortunately, even a weak vape has some kick. Not as much as tobacco extracts, only half as much. With glycerin and PG + nic shot, the cotton still needs to be changed 1-2 times a week. I never vape any of them above 10 Watts. Still.

Long time no hear, hope you are well and everything is okay.
Regarding gunking, if you buy the nicshot at a shop, and if not, it’s still not good if it gunks up this much. It should last at least 1 month, and even then, only the parts of the cotton directly under the coils should be light brown.
My first tip is that your coil is too tight. It might be gunking up this much because in a too-tight coil, the liquid can no longer act as a coolant. If your coil were looser, the liquid (or in this case, base liquid/e-liquid base) in the cotton would not reach the coil’s temperature during firing, therefore it would also serve well as a secondary cooling agent. But this way, it can only burn.
The second is that there’s not enough airflow. It might be that because of less airflow, your coil is not cooling well, therefore the wire is cooling poorly, which makes the vapor hot and the liquid quickly boils, almost burning. If the tank’s cooling (airflow) is good, then there’s no chance for the base to burn onto the coil.
The third is that the coil is too high. It might even happen that due to a coil placed too high, the base burns onto the coil immediately, because it gets air late.
By the way, I don’t know what the ingredients of tobacconist nicshots are, but perhaps try for a short while to use your tank the same way but with a liquid without nicshot, using just the base. If it doesn’t gunk up, or only less so, then something in the nicshot is causing this. If it continues to gunk up the same way, then change the coil build as I’ve explained.
