Fruizee review

Another flavor test is up, courtesy of Calumette. I will also present some members of a product line new to me, which are the Fruizee aromas. Fruizee, manufactured in France by Eliquid France, founded in 2013, exclusively follows the fruity line. Fruizee is one of the manufacturer’s most successful product lines, which always includes cooling or mint, but it’s not uncommon for both to be present in the aromas. We are fundamentally talking about aromas designed for DL use, which is why the manufacturer definitely recommends mixing with a VG-heavy base! However, I diluted all of them with a 50/50 base this time. I will elaborate on the results below.

Lemon Orange Mandarin (Citron Orange Mandarine)

According to the manufacturer, a blend of sour lemon, orange, and mandarin with a cooling agent.

The scent immediately hits you with the aroma of sour lemon, which truly has a tart bouquet, with orange and mandarin hiding behind it, blended together. The cooling agent cannot be detected by smell, but the aroma is truly fresh and pleasant, like a cold lemonade.

In terms of taste, with a fresh coil, the cooling agent dominates, and the lemon only begins to take over the leading flavor after about half a tank has been vaped. Later, when the cotton has broken in sufficiently, the cooling agent and lemon balance each other out. The lemon is indeed sour, but it doesn’t become astringent, making it just pleasant. Orange and mandarin are strongly hidden in the background at low wattage, so we only get a hint of them upon exhaling. However, at higher wattage (35 watts with a single DL Clapton coil), they immediately emerge, and this is when this tropical flavor explosion truly becomes delicious! At higher wattage, the cooling agent also intensifies, but the flavors come together better as a trio, with the tart lemon reigning supreme, but the blend of orange and mandarin is also present, very closely and more noticeably, resulting in a lemonade flavor that is not at all exaggerated. In contrast, upon exhaling, we first perceive the orange and mandarin, followed by a pleasantly cool and slightly tart lemon.

Overall, the cooling agent is quite potent, but not so much that it compromises the flavors. The sour lemon is perfectly matched by the equally sour orange flavor, which, when mixed with mandarin, becomes special and delicious! It’s perfect with a single DL coil at higher wattage, although this also depends on the coil, but I think it will be even more magnificent in dual DL!

Bloody Summer

According to the manufacturer, slightly sweet red berries with a large dose of cooling agent and mint.

The scent is an unmistakable aroma of red berries, which is indeed slightly sweet. The cooling agent is not detectable, but the mint can be slightly perceived even from the smell.

In terms of taste, with a fresh coil, the cooling agent also dominates first, which is intensified and made long-lasting by the mint. We don’t have to wait long for the red berries. Their sweet character immediately won me over. It’s truly delicious, not too overpowering, and its sweetness is very moreish. Among red berries, we include strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, redcurrant, and blueberry. Of these, I think raspberry is detectable, and it’s the leading flavor, while the others accompany the flavorful blend like a good fruit mix. However, I couldn’t determine the exact number of fruits by taste, but it’s definitely not just raspberry. The cooling agent and mint combo is not as intense or strong at the beginning of the puff, but as we continue vaping, it becomes stronger. By the end of the puff, it’s literally throat-freezing, which slightly pushes the flavors into the background. Upon exhaling, the flavors don’t separate at all; the sweet and complex taste of the red berry blend is perceived, which leaves the taste buds relatively quickly. In contrast, the cool breeze of the cooling agent, along with the strong presence of mint, can be felt in our mouths for a long time after exhaling.

Overall, this is not a complex flavor, but raspberry is noticeably at the forefront. The sweet base is truly pleasant and perfectly harmonizes with the red berries. The cooling agent and mint don’t intrude on the fruits at the beginning of the puff, but the longer you vape, the more they start to take over. Upon exhaling, the flavors are quite well perceived, compensating us for the throat-freezing sensation that became so bold by the end of the puff.

Fire Moon

According to the manufacturer, raspberry, blackberry, with sweet strawberry and cooling agent.

The scent is first and foremost raspberry, quite strong, but its sweetness can already be determined from the smell, accompanied by blackberry and strawberry. All three flavors are detectable, so the harmony is perfect.

In terms of taste, with a fresh coil, the cooling agent also stands out, but not excessively, which will gradually fade, bringing the fruits more to the forefront. Raspberry is the leading flavor, gently complemented by blackberry, which is not sweet at all. Strawberry hides somewhere, which is why the sweet sensation is also absent. However, at higher wattage, the strawberry begins to join the flavor explosion, but for some reason, it left its sweetness at home. Strawberry is listed as the last flavor, and indeed it remains last, not always being perceptible. The sweet sensation is also not always present, but regardless, we find a very pleasant composition with this aroma. The cooling agent is not excessive, just pleasant, which makes the flavors constantly feel fresh. It doesn’t intensify at higher wattage, only the flavors become more dominant. Upon exhaling, raspberry is the first and strong flavor, followed closely by a hint of blackberry, but they dissipate quite quickly, leaving behind the cooling agent, which has the same intensity from the beginning to the end of the puff and upon exhaling.

Overall, it is indeed a pleasant blend, not exaggerated, but not as sweet as the description emphasizes the sweet strawberry. While blackberry breaks the dominance of raspberry, these two together form a perfect pair. I regret that the strawberry didn’t get more emphasis, but even so, this became my favorite. The cooling agent is also just enough, keeping this pleasant flavor fresh for us throughout. In my opinion, this will be most enjoyable in dual coil DL.

Purple Beach

According to the manufacturer, you can taste a combination of peach and grape with a cooling agent.

The scent is a strongly vibrant peach, which is slightly altered and made more interesting by the distinctive aroma of grape.

In terms of taste, it’s like a refreshing peachy drink with a hint of sweetness. The floral and slightly spicy flavor profile of grape is perfectly in harmony with the peach. With a fresh coil, as with the other flavors, the cooling agent comes to the forefront, which gradually recedes into the background as the cotton breaks in. Upon inhalation, peach is naturally the leading flavor, but the grape doesn’t appear separately; instead, it is carefully integrated into the peach, giving it a slightly different, more complex taste than the usual peach. Its sweetness is not exaggerated, but since it’s a peach flavor, it could have used a little more, but it’s still perfectly enjoyable. The cooling agent is not overdone, so the flavor can easily prevail over it. No matter how long the puffs are, the cooling agent remains at the same intensity. Upon exhaling, the unique blend of peach and grape is felt simultaneously, just like during inhalation. The flavors leave our mouths shortly after exhaling, leaving behind a feeling of cool freshness.

Overall, this is an aroma that is considered relatively simple in terms of flavor experience, but it is as great as it is simple. Perfect harmony from just two flavors! The floral and spicy flavor profile of grape adds a plus to the peach that makes it special. Although I think it could have used a little more sweetener, as there really isn’t much of it, it’s still very delicious.

Tools

  • Innokin Ares Finale, 7 wraps on a 2.5mm core with Zivipf Kanthal A1, Vapefly Cotton Cloud’s cotton
  • Hellvape Dead Rabbit Solo, 6 wraps on a 3mm core with Coilogy Ni80 Clapton 26/36, Vapefly Cotton Cloud’s cotton

Recommended dilution for all 4 flavors: 15%, Recommended ratio: 30PG/70VG, Steeping: 5-10 days
I did not adhere to the manufacturer’s recommended ratio, so I used my usual 50PG/50VG base, but the end result was great even so! It’s worth waiting the 10 days!

Finally, although these are specifically DL flavors, they weren’t bad in MTL either, but I can state with full certainty that it will only be worth vaping them with an MTL Clapton! Otherwise, they delivered the flavors mentioned above in MTL with simple wire too, but for some reason, it was a slightly different experience than from DL, and the cooling significantly intensified. Therefore, I can also support that these will be at their best in DL tanks! They are very good with single coil as well, but it’s worth using something more robust like a Clapton for the Fruizee flavors, or dual DL, to ensure a disappointment-free experience!

Thank you for reading! Have a nice day! :hugs:
