Exvape eXpromizer V4 RTA sale

Hi,
Well, at first glance, based on the pictures, everything seems mostly okay, weird situation  Perhaps two ideas to experiment with (if you want), but they might not solve the gurgling.

You can replace this O-ring with one from the spare parts kit. This might be a solution if the liquid is leaking down into the air channel and the current O-ring has become a bit “flattened” due to years of storage. If it still gurgles, you can swap it back, it costs nothing.

Maybe spread the cotton out more. Based on the picture, it seems to me it’s concentrated a bit too much in the middle, leaving room on the edges for leakage.

And a question: is the build deck (where the O-ring is) properly screwed onto the deck “base”? If you unscrew the 510 screw, you can then unscrew the top and bottom parts of the deck; maybe it wasn’t screwed on properly (no need to overtighten, but it should be securely fastened). Oh, and there’s also an O-ring inside the deck “base,” you could check that too.

I’ve encountered what you’re describing myself many years ago

The 510 screw was loose for me too, TC wasn’t working because the resistance was jumping, and several people on foreign forums mentioned this. I think this is a weak point, because if you tighten it too much, screw it in all the way, then it will be almost flush with the 510 thread, ruling out mechanical mods and some mods don’t handle such connectors very well. You need some middle ground, not too loose but still sticking out a bit. However, it’s still a good RTA.

But I don’t think this has anything to do with heating up; that’s more likely due to the clapton, as others mentioned before me: a large mass of metal, slow cooling down.

Thanks again for the tips, I’ll try them out soon! For now, I only have Clapton coils, but I’ll get some plain wire ones and test with those as well.

It arrived for me too, in brushed finish  Somehow I liked the black less and less, it was a color choice from many years ago, I liked it back then… But for now I won’t sell it if anyone asks, because that one is also good, I use it in the evening

And it’s interesting, the RTA wasn’t stuck for me, I easily took it apart with my hands. What I struggled with was the mod, it was properly fused together

One thing was missed: “there is also an O-ring inside the deck “base”” - this has nothing to do with gurgling, you should just check it when you take it apart, it seals out air leaks and also prevents liquid from reaching the 510 pin if you get a flood.

I’ll check it out, thanks!

Enjoy your new tank!

That’s right, practically always with that. All of them anyway. :slightly_smiling_face:

Unfortunately, there’s a lot of work, I can hardly come around much. I use Clapton, BpMods, 80%+ PG liquids, but everything works properly. The 510 bottom screw is moved/exercised every few months, screwed into position. Maybe I’m just lucky…:slightly_smiling_face:

By the way, there’s an old “trick” for temporarily fixing gurgling (or full liquid flooding): turn the RTA upside down, suck it to your mouth, and blow into the airflow a few times, then wipe away what came out

This can help you a bit with troubleshooting, because if it no longer gurgles until the next refill, then there might be an issue with the initial steps (e.g., cotton amount, because pressure pushes the liquid in when closing the top cap, but it holds vacuum afterwards, O-rings might be good etc.). If it returns after a few puffs, the problem is general (O-rings, cotton, or anything else…). I think

Hi! When you fill the tank, it’s worth closing the liquid control completely, which covers the 3 small feeding holes. Afterwards, if you open it gradually, just 1 hole at a time, and let the cotton soak up a bit, then it usually doesn’t (shouldn’t) gurgle anymore. And yes, the cotton closer to the holes, cover them completely. :slightly_smiling_face:

“I have 80-100 flavors at home…”

But still, let one drop into the cart, while we’re at it… as if I were seeing myself while shopping… When 3 longfills slip in next to the tank sleeve, under the threshold…

You just really feel like you have to try this!!

The aroma isn’t the problem, I wasn’t paying attention again :sob:!! I just realized I bought a bottle with bubbles for it, which I don’t even use!!

Yes, better. It’s stylish for me, and I can get through an up to 12-16 hour shift with it. The stock 2ml doesn’t give me a sense of security.:grin:
