Clapton from the Clapton factory!

This article has been in the making since last year. Because I received a small taste of his webshop’s offerings from Sóki, and it took a lot of time to try them all. You can buy very brutal claptons from Clapton Factory! Yes!

They were very hard to wear out, of course, with my usage. I like sweet, chocolatey, sugary things. They got plenty of that. But I am also sure that they could have been pushed even further.

The DL claptons lasted the longest. They were used in TFV12 and Fatality. With Coil Master Pro Cotton wicks. (I won’t go into detail about the wicks because it’s a matter of taste; this is what worked for me.) I received 8 types of pre-wound DL claptons. All of them stayed close to the written ohm value. Burning them in is mandatory, partly because of the dirt/grease layer, and partly because since these are truly handmade items, they occasionally have hotspots. But this can be fixed by scraping with a ceramic tweezer. Of course, there is a recommendation for each, about the wattage range you can play with, but without exception, all of them gave the best flavors at the maximum recommendation (or a few watts above). These are SS304 and Ni80 coils, they heat up and cool down properly without exception!

I won’t go into each one separately because they generally behave the same during use, but they are better than an average clapton. The only difference is that this is not a product from a well-known foreign manufacturer, but it is just as good! Moreover, these last longer, 2-3 weeks, or even more. I change my Vandy Vape claptons weekly, but I removed these after 1-1.5 months just to try something else. They delivered flavors perfectly throughout the entire time. At first, it takes 10-15 puffs to break in the coil. But once that happens, you can blow large and dense clouds that not all wires are capable of. Personally, I would recommend these for airy DL tanks so you can utilize what they are truly capable of!

The three types of MTL claptons lasted a bit shorter for me. About 4-5 weeks, but I think this was because they clashed with my average usage habits. I like airy MTL tanks, and these proved too hot for me. But as soon as I put them in a semi-DL tank, they immediately delivered as expected! I could only use them effectively in semi-DL, in Fresia, I used the MTL claptons. But even in Fresia, they were mostly in a DL setup, just with an MTL drip tip. But this way, they cooled down properly.

Although all coils behaved the same, they broke in after 10-15 puffs, gave good flavor (but this also depends on the wick), and produced amazing clouds, I still noticed that there is a different coil for every tank here. You can get the best out of them by experimenting with the claptons made by Sóki to see which one fits which tank. You can choose based on how many wires it’s made of, what thickness the wires are that are twisted together, what core it’s wound on, and whether it’s a dual or single coil. They will perform well in all DL tanks, I am 100% sure of this, but to get the most out of the coils, it is essential to experiment with them a little.

I liked all of them, I can’t say anything bad about them. The hotspotting was a bit strange because what I’m used to doesn’t do that, but it’s well worth the 2 minutes of fiddling.

If you don’t believe it, check it out!
