It used to be fashionable to soak them in alcohol, then leave them to stand in water for 12-24 hours. But I also have acquaintances who boiled the atomizers to get rid of the flavors that way. Many things are possible, even soaking in the base liquid, but the question is always whether the cotton in the atomizer can handle it?
